Roger Fuson

Roger Fuson has been telling the traditional stories that he loves – folk tales, legends, and fairy tales – for many years. He is known as a “raconteur” who recounts with flair his own experiences in the wilds of Alaska. In the summer of 1999, he wrote and performed an entertaining and informative program for the Alaska Center for Public Lands called “Moose and Goose on the Loose.” Roger taught at Kincaid Elementary for many years, where the children knew him as “That Guy Who Tells Stories”, even if they did not know his name. A fellow storyteller says, “When we listen to Roger tell stories, we feel like we are paddling a canoe with him on the sea of imagination.”
