Betty Arnett

Betty Arnett tells a variety of creative and original narrations for all age groups as well as traditional world stories and literary tales. Being a former school teacher, she enjoys doing assemblies for children and researching stories that fit into educational themes. Betty has studied the art of storytelling under Michale Gabriel and gives workshops using the Gabriel method (a tried and true way of learning stories). She had her own radio show for storytelling to the blind at Alaska Information Radio, Reading and Education Service. Her show was called “Betty’s Storytelling Loft”.

Betty Arnett has published her first book, “22 and the Mother of 11.” It’s an “Alaska frontier instant mother’s story,” and a piece of Alaska history.  Betty tells some of the stories contained in this book, which is a sure indicator that the book is entertaining as well as informative!
